Urbanization and the Merrimack River

I've created this website as a final project for my Remote Sensing class at Salem State University. Tasked with using remotly sensed data to explore an aspect of the earth's surface, I became intrigued with how much urban land cover was located close to water. I chose to highlight the trend of urbanization​ in the Merrimack River Valley. I detailed why it began and why it has continued since the Industrial Revolution.
